Actually the current prerelease of LW 4.0 does handle sequences ending in
.tga. LW should automatically detect the sequence by just clicking on one
of the filenames in the sequence (no need to remove any digits or
extensions). images named name001.tga, name002.tga etc will load fine. If
you have four digits, LightWave should detect that too (assumming the
first digit is a 0). Avoid names like fly2001.xxx, fly2001.xxx, etc
